PRIVACY POLICY OF REAPPLIX A/S

Reapplix A/S operates the 3cpatch.com and Reapplix.com websites.

This privacy policy describes how Reapplix A/S (“we”, “us” or “Reapplix”) process your personal data in connection with i.e. provision of our services, as part of our collaboration with business partners, when publishing articles and other content, when using our websites and as part of the marketing of Reapplix and Reapplix’s products.

3. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

3.1 Provision of our products and/or services

In connection with our provision of products and/or services to a customer, potential customer, or business partner we will normally create a case file in our customer management system. One or several parties who are involved in the matter in different ways will be named as contacts. If you are such a person, we will process personal data about you.

We will use the personal data to communicate with you.

We will only process ordinary personal data about you, including contact details such as your name, title or position, email address, telephone, address, and your place of employment.

Personal data are provided either by our customer, business partner, yourself, or a third person associated with the party you represent.

We will process your personal data based on GDPR art. 6.1.b, if you as a customer is a person, as processing is necessary for the entering into or performance of a contract with our customer about the provision of our services. Otherwise, we will process your personal data based on GDPR art. 6.1.f, as our processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests in providing our products and/or services.

We will retain your personal data as long as they are necessary for the purpose or purposes for which they are being processed. As a general rule, data will be kept for 5 years after termination of the customer relationship but under special circumstances, such periods may be shorter or longer, including for the purpose of complying with legal requirements for the erasure or keeping of data.

3.2 Collaboration with business partners

If you are a patient of one of our customers or business partners (normally hospitals and clinics), i.e. as part of your 3C Patch application, photos of your body parts where chronic wound(s) are placed may be taken by your treating physician/nurse and shared with us. Any such processing will take place for Reapplix’s commercial purposes (i.e. promoting the use of 3C Patch and further development of 3C Patch), and may include publishing on Reapplix’s website and social media platforms, as well as in brochures, on posters, and as part of other types of marketing material related to Reapplix.

Personal data are provided either by our customer, business partner, yourself, or a third person associated with the party you represent.

We will process your personal data based on GDPR art. 6.1.a and art. 9.2.a (explicit consent).

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing an email to info@reapplix.com. Your withdrawal will not affect the continued use of 3C Patch or other Reapplix-products.

We will retain your personal data for as long as we deem it relevant and necessary for the purposes mentioned above.

3.3 Publication of articles and other content

If you participate in programs and activities with Reapplix, we may process your personal data, including your name, age, profession, nationality, pictures, any quotes obtained as part of an interview with you as well as any health data (i.e. information related to the use of 3C Patch on you) in relation to our publication of articles. Any such publishing will take place for Reapplix’s commercial purposes (i.e. promoting the use of 3C Patch), and may include publishing on Reapplix’s website and social media platforms, as well as in brochures, on posters, and as part of other types of marketing material related to Reapplix.

3.4 Other marketing

Apart from what is already mentioned above under Sections 3.2 and 3.3, we will also use your personal data for the purposes of marketing in a broader sense, including for the purposes of being able to target communication specifically to you. Targeted communication includes newsletters, product releases, and patient stories including photos of the patient’s body parts where chronic wound(s) are placed (covered by Sections 3.2 and 3.3 above).

We will only process ordinary personal data for these matters, including name, title or position, email address, telephone, and your place of employment. We will also register the language in which you wish to receive such material.

The personal data we use is provided either by our customer, business partner, yourself, or a third person associated with the party you represent.

Processing of your personal data is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests in carrying out marketing activities and our interest in targeting the material we send out, cf. GDPR art. 6.1.f.

We will retain your personal data for as long as we deem it relevant and necessary for the purposes mentioned above.

  • Our website

We collect personal data about you when you visit our website, including as a result of our use of cookies.

We use your personal data to optimize the user experience on and efficiency of our website, to compile statistics regarding your use of the website, and to target our content on the website and marketing to you.

In this regard, we use third-party cookies to remember your settings, to follow your use of the website, for statistical purposes, and to target content and marketing. You can read more about this in our cookie policy .

In connection with the above-mentioned, we process ordinary personal data about you in the form of IP address, information about your IT-equipment, including the internet browser, operating system, and device ID, as well as information about your use of our website.

We collect these personal data directly from you through your use of our website and through the cookies which are used.

We will process your personal data based on your consent in accordance with GDPR art. 6.1.a and partly based on art. 6.1.f (only relevant for technically necessary cookies).

Our legitimate interest when we process your personal data based on GDPR art. 6.1.f is to be able to offer you an optimally functioning and efficient website (technically necessary cookies). All other processing is based on GDPR art. 6.1.a.

We only store these personal data as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above, and our storage period will normally depend on the specific cookies used. You can read more about this in our cookie policy.

3.6 When you contact us through our website

When you contact us through our website, we will process your contact information (name, email address, and content of message sent to us as provided by you) in order for us to communicate with you.

We collect these personal data directly from you through your use of our website.

We will process your personal data based on GDPR art. 6.1.f, as our processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests in responding to your queries.

We will retain your personal data as long as it is necessary for the purpose or purposes for which they are being processed. In general, personal data will be deleted no later than 12 months after we consider your query solved or our dialogue with you has ended.

4. RECIPIENTS AND THIRD-COUNTRY TRANSFERS

We will generally not disclose your personal data to any third parties. However, we may to some extent share your personal data with:

  • Suppliers and vendors that we work with to assist our company (meaning service providers, technical support, supply services, and financial institutions)
  • Public authorities
  • Other Reapplix-group entities

When a country has not been deemed by the Commission of the European Union to have an adequate level of protection of personal data, we will provide appropriate safeguards for the transfer:

  • Through the use of “Standard Data Protection Clauses” adopted by the Commission of the European Union or any other contractual agreement approved by the competent authorities. You may obtain a copy of the clauses/agreement by contacting us at info@reapplix.com.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the following rights:

  • You have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data.
  • You also have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
  • If the processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent. You may withdraw your consent by emailing info@reapplix.com.
  • You have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability).
  • You may always lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. The Danish Data Protection Agency.

Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data as follows.

  • If the processing of your personal data is based on GDPR art. 6.1.e or art. 6.1.f, see above regarding legal basis, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data.
  • Where your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data about you for such marketing.

There may be conditions or limitations on these rights. It is therefore not certain for example you have the right of data portability in the specific case – this depends on the specific circumstances of the processing activity.
